Who we are

Empirix Global Limited (“Empirix Global”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal data collected through empirixglobal.com. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 17001025. Our registered office is Unit A256 4 - 6 Greatorex Street, London, United Kingdom, E1 5NF.

What we collect

• Information you give us. Name, email address, organisation and the contents of any message you send through our by email.
• Technical information. Standard server log data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, used to keep the website secure and available.
• Third-party web fonts. The site may request typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends a request to a Google server. Google may process that request under its own privacy policy.
• Regional preference lookup. When you visit the homepage, an approximate country code may be requested by the browser from ipwho.is or ipapi.co your approximate country code so we can recommend the relevant Mr. Digix regional website. We do not use this lookup to identify you, and we do not store the country result in our systems.
• Recruitment information. Any details you choose to send when applying for a role.

We do not collect special category data through this website, and we ask that you do not send it to us.

Why we use it

• To respond to enquiries you send us — on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us, or in taking steps prior to entering a contract.
• To consider job applications — on the basis of our legitimate interest in recruitment.
• To operate, secure and improve this website — on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a safe and functional service.
• To show a location-relevant entry point for Mr. Digix — on the basis of our legitimate interest in making the website useful without requiring an account or collecting a precise location.
• To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

Sharing

We share personal data only where necessary: with businesses and brands within the Empirix Global group where your enquiry concerns one of them; with service providers who host our website, deliver our email or provide IT support, acting under contract on our instructions; and with advisers or authorities where we are required to do so by law. We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

Empirix Global operates in the United Kingdom and Pakistan. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we put appropriate safeguards in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an equivalent mechanism.

Retention

Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with the matter and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping. Recruitment material is kept for up to twelve months unless you ask us to remove it sooner. Records we are required to keep by law are kept for the period the law requires.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions in UK data protection law, you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to data portability. You may exercise any of these rights by writing to us.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe we have handled your personal data improperly. We would ask that you raise the matter with us first.

Security

We maintain technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including access control, encryption in transit and restricted administrative access to our systems.
